Hey friends. Are you stressed about the upcoming holidays? Are you dreading being with family or dreading not having the people you care about close? Life just feel overwhelming? Roasted Chickpeas: I’ve made this a few times now and my kids love it. It’s a great crunchy recipe without any of the fuss of deep frying. They taste like a homemade version of cornnuts. That best part is you can make them your own flavor wise. Spicy ranch here I come!

No egg cookie dough dip! It’s healthy too! I promise you can eat your feelings without having to feel too bad about it! Win/Win.
Blackpink: Stay- Ok I love Kpop. Love it! This is a great acoustic song from a new group of super talented women. I know it may seem weird to listen to music in a language you don’t know but be open. It’s happy and make me happy. I want to share the happy.
If this isn’t you thing, my local classical station has an online streaming option. It’s great music that you can listen to anywhere. I love it when I’m feeling super stressed. You may too.
Ok So I know I mentioned this in my last blanket fort but listen, it’s a little scary out there for a lot of us. 2016 was a real asshole, ok? This delightful Kdrama is sweet and funny and *really* talks about what beauty means. It has one of the best “makeover” scenes I’ve ever watched. It’s not what you think. It’s better. You can watch for free here or find it on hulu.
Not really in the mood for subtitles? Try The Lizzie Bennet Diaries. Yes, I know it’s been around awhile but it’s still great and worth rewatching. Plus it’s free aaaaand easy to sneak during tension filled family gatherings.
The Enchanted Inc series is a GREAT book series to help pass the Holidays. They’re light and fun. There are 7 books in the series. The premise of the series is Katie doesn’t have an ounce of magic in her so she’s able to see things how they really are. She’s not fool by trickery and that makes her a valuable asset in the magical world. Cool, right?
Now I think that’s a great start to our holiday blanket fort. Feel free to tell us what you’ll bring to the fort in the comments below!
We’ll get through this together!
