Look at this trio. Look hard. Now make the difficult decision: who will you snog (meaning one and done), who will you marry, and who ends up your BFF? We’ll tell you ours if you tell us yours. Well, actually we’ll tell you ours anyway.

Isn’t it good to know we care about the real issues here at Keysmash? Okay, go!

Snog Halloween, Marry Thanksgiving, BFF Christmas. I am not one of those people who gets all excited about Halloween. I don’t like watching scary movies, going to haunted houses or anything remotely scary. I don’t enjoy handing out candy and even didn’t enjoy getting dressed up when I was younger. It’s not my cup of tea. So I’m doing just a quick one and done snog with Halloween. I’m marrying Thanksgiving. The beauty of this holiday is it’s what you want it to be. If you want to spend it with your family and eat a huge meal do it, if you want to stay home or go to the movies then that’s your choice. I think versatility is important in a marriage so I’ll meet you at the altar Thanksgiving. Christmas you are my BFF. At times stressful, but always a good time, Christmas is the thing you want in your life. It’s something to look forward to when it comes and you enjoy the lead up, but you stress yourself over making sure the house looks good and things are all in place before it comes.

Snog Thanksgiving, Marry Halloween, BFF Christmas. Thanksgiving is great because food is great, but if I ate like that every day I would have even more trouble with my weight than I already do. Plus then I’d probably get tired of stuffing and sweet potato casserole and no one wants that. Marrying Halloween because duhhhhh, Halloween is by far my favorite holiday, and I could celebrate it year round forever. Pumpkins and crunchy leaves and kids who can dress up like whatever they want to? Yes please. All day, every day. Christmas would be my BFF then, which makes sense. It gives me warm and fuzzy feelings, but I don’t want to spend ALL my time with it (one full month of that music is enough to send even the jolliest sort around the twist).

Snog Thanksgiving, Marry Halloween, BFF Christmas. Fun fact about me: I hate Thanksgiving and Christmas. BAH FREAKING HUMBUG. To quote Jake from Brooklyn 99 “Turkey taste like napkins and the pilgrims were murders.”  Pass. Christmas is such a nightmare as an adult. But I could see it being a great friend. Like one of those friends that’s a pain but there when you need them to be? I could make the friendship work if I have to. Halloween on the other hand IS MY FAVORITE. We get each other. Halloween gives me the freedom to be what I want and to be creative as I want. It’s a match made in heaven.

*whistles the Jeopardy theme* OKAY PENCILS DOWN. What are your choices?
