Hey friends! Mel here to share all my top holiday picks for that beauty lover in your life. (That beauty lover can totally be yourself!) I’m a beauty junkie and can’t wait to share what I know to help. I’ve spent a bunch of time this year reading and watching reviews to figure out what’s worth your hard earned money. Let’s go!
Bésame Cosmetics Mini Lipstick Set $25– This is a great little set that offers a wide range of different reds from different eras in history. It’s also a nice way for someone to try on a bunch of different reds without committing to a full sized one. Oh and Fun fact Red Velvet is Peggy Carter’s signature color. Bonus if the person getting it is a fan of the show!
NYX COSMETICS Matte Lipstick Set $12 – Here is a drugstore lips set and the shade Alabama is a dupe for Besame’s Red Velvet. One thing is these are a little drying so maybe include a chapstick in the gift wrap.
Persuede Me Lippie Kit $25: This is a good option for someone who doesn’t want bold colors. These are pretty neutral. The formula is decent and has good color pay off. Bonus it comes is a pretty box so it makes wrapping easier! (I hate wrapping lol.)
Nutcracker Sweet Red Lipstick Kit $35: This little kit is plain adorable. I love every single one of these shade. This would make a super cute gift for any makeup lover.
Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour Quad $26: There are 4 different color schemes you can chose from. The formula is amazing. Kat Von D’s shadows are some of my faves. They kick up a bit of dust when you use a brush but so long as you tap off the excess, you’ll be fine.
Everyday Eyes Powder Eyeshadow Collection $10: These are great drugstore palettes that come in six different color schemes. The formula’s great and the staying power is on par with high end shadows.
Colour Pop Zingara Foursome $18: This quad is for those who like warm tones. The formula for these is a little different. For best results use your fingers or a synthetic brush. These build and blend wonderfully.
Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection Comfort Zone $5: This is one of the staples in my collection. It’s a perfect gift for someone just starting out in makeup or for someone who likes to keep things simple. Formula and pigmentation are both great.
Natasha Denona Eyeshadow Palette $48: These are lovely and perfect if you want to treat a beauty lover. There are 13 different quints to chose from so you’ve got options. The formula is out of this world and worth the splurge.
Makeup Geek Duochrome Pigment $12: These are beautiful. They are also great if you want people to think you you worked harder on your makeup than you really did. (Basically my goal in life.) They come in eight different shade and all of them are lovely.
Nutcracker Sweet Bronze Pigments and Glitter Kit $35: This is one of the things I’m going to pick up for myself. I love pigments and these are lovely. I was solid when a friend texted me swatches. Great gift in a cute box!
TheBalm The Manizer Sisters $28: This is a multi-tasking palette. It can be either an eyeshadow palette or an highlighting palette. Because of that it works on many skintones and makeup needs.
Dose of Colors EyesCream Palette $50: This is a fun, functional palette. It’s got the staple neutrals but also has two fun pops of color that can be worked in well with the rest of the palette. I love this and the quality is topshelf.
Makeup Geek Highlighter Bundles $48: These babies are *so* pretty. And the thing I love about these bundles is they are groups so EVERYONE can be glowing and beautiful. Also you can totally get 3 gifts out of one purchase. Well provided your friends have around the same skintones.
Colourpop Highlight Trio $20: Here’s a less expensive option of a highlighter gift set. Again it’s broken up into skintones. These are lovely and provide a wonderful glow.
And with that, I think you’ve got a great start! Oh and one last thing don’t forget to use Ebates if you’re shopping online! It’s free and you get cash back by just clicking through links. Win/Win!
